Content Editor

The Content Editor will serve as an editor for the Net Pakistani website as well as other special online projects. This individual primarily will be responsible for working closely with the Webmaster to work on the different channels of the website.

Content Editor will be responsible for copyediting and proofing content, substantive editing, and writing. He will also be responsible for special projects/areas such as newsletters. This individual will have the basic editorial, technology and graphic design skills necessary to make improvements to content presentation on the website.

Content Editor will be relied upon to make recommendations regarding overall direction, design, and scope of areas of the website as well as make recommendations for content development and other projects, and will be responsible for establishing and accomplishing these goals and objectives.

Experience: 

• Must possess 2+ years of proven experience in editing, writing, and managing contents. Good knowledge of English, journalism, or related field required.
  
  
• Experience in Web publishing is a must.
  
  
• Excellent conceptualization, organizational, and interpersonal skills a must. Health care background a plus.

The part-time position will be off-site and freelance in nature. Exceptional performance may lead to permanent contractual employment.

Salary:

Negotiable, depending on the qualification, skills and experience.
